 Fall Family Weekend 2005

On Friday, October 14, and Saturday, October 15, parents and students enjoyed
an action-packed Fall Family Weekend that included mini-classes, the Parent
Council's "Mad Hatter" contest, the Alumnae Association's River Run and sports games.

Crowning the Snow Queen is always a Snow Ball highlight. SMS seniors strut their Snow Ball style.
Mini-classes literally put parents in their
daughter's seat, as in this history classroom.

Students found plenty to admire - and purchase
- at the Alumnae Association's crafts festival.

Dressing up made the evening even more fun for these girls.  The dance floor was jammed - and jamming - all night long
These brave parents worked algebra
problems on the board in a math mini-class,
just as their daughters do in a real class.

While this student's brother may not
be able to follow in her footsteps to
SMS, he can still show school pride!

The Alumnae Association's RiverRun/Walk got
off to a fast start on a beautiful Saturday morning.


Parents also sported some pretty
flashy headwear, all in good fun.
