The Thistle House
Help Make Thistle House a Home

Are you redecorating? Emptying your nest for a move to smaller quarters? Then you have the opportunity to receive tax credit for your donation of items to help furnish Thistle House, the Alumnae Association's campus home.

Thistle House The Association is seeking good quality, lightly used pieces in traditional styles. Smaller-scale pieces will work best with the house's floorplan.

We're looking for:
  Rectangular coffee table

  Occasional tables

  Porch furniture

  Traditionally styled upholstered arm chairs

  Twin bed mattresses with box springs

  Oblong oriental runner for front hall, any colors

  Table lamps for living room, to coordinate with red/creamy yellow color scheme

  Framed prints/paintings

The Thistle House is a generous gift of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Muirhead, parents of Susan Muirhead Widman '93. Located on Water Lane, across the street from the Community/Technology Center, the three-bedroom home offers the perfect place for alumnae to stay while they visit campus.
