RIVER RUN AND CRAFT FESTIVAL  Fall's just around the corner and so is the 2011 St. Margaret’s School Rappahannock River Run & Crafts Festival. This two day event begins with the Crafts Festival, held on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 10:00AM until 4:00PM on the lawn of St. Margaret's Hall in Tappahannock, Virginia. Vendors feature unique gifts, home décor and accessories, clothing and jewelry. Interested in joining us as a vendor at our Crafts Festival? Register online today for a fee of $75—if submitted with a complete application by September 1—after September 1, the fee is $100. Download the application form to participate in the Craft Fair. The Crafts Festival is a community outreach and fundraising event of the St. Margaret's School Alumnae Association. Check out the results and fun at the 2010 event! In its 13th year, the 5k, 3.1 mile Rappahannock River Run takes place on Saturday, October 15 at 8:00 a.m. Click to REGISTER ONLINE NOW. The cost of and individual participant is $20 prior to October 1. Official race day T-Shirts are included in registration. Race-day registration costs $25 and will be held from 7:00 to 7:45 a.m. in front of St. Margaret's Hall at 444 Water Lane. The race offers competitive and recreational runners or walkers alike to come together for a scenic tour of Tappahannock, Virginia. The flat, fast course begins and ends at St. Margaret's School and takes participants through the town’s historic district and alongside the Rappahannock River.Running groups are welcome and encouraged. Group rates are available upon request and with group registration.
