Thanks to her Guatemalan mother, Ms. Ruebush learned a love of Spanish at an early age. She has lived in Peru and Spain, and both experiences contributed to her knowledge of the language and of the culture. Ms. Ruebush earned a minor in Spanish.

Ms. Ruebush enjoys traveling and singing, and she does both as often as possible. She is a dorm parent and lives on campus.
