Mrs. Rhinesmith brings history to life everyday in her World History II classes.  She connects with her students, making material entertaining and memorable. History plays a large part in her life as well, as a member of  the Virginia Historical Society’s Teachers Institute.  As Head of the SMS Academic team, Mrs. Rhinesmith also advises new teachers on campus. In addition, she is also on the selection panel for the Stratford Hall-Monticello Summer Seminar for Teachers. She is a very active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal church and is a founding member of the Middle Peninsula Garden Club.

She lives off campus and has a daughter, Carrie, and two grandchildren, John and Caroline.
