Mr. Lloyd has taught Latin to generations of SMS girls, spreading his boundless enthusiasm for Latin and Classical Studies every year. He has teaching Classics down to an art, from beginning vocabulary to translation to Advanced Vergil and Catullus.  Mr. Lloyd has also sponsored many campus clubs, graduating classes, and school trips, including Minimester trips to Greece and Italy. He is also the National Honor Society sponsor.

Mr. Lloyd is one of St. Margaret’s most accomplished faculty members, earning many awards and honors for his teaching, including Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. In addition, Mr. Lloyd received many honors as an undergraduate and graduate student for Latin and Classical studies. He is a well-published Classics scholar and even had a book dedicated to him by local authors Larry Michaels and Robyn Hage.

He lives on campus with his wife, Lucia, and his two daughters, Kendall and Mary.
