Mrs. Conklin works individually with SMS juniors and seniors to help them identify and gain admission to the college that’s right for them—one where they will feel at home, both academically and socially. A member of the College Counseling Association, she also coordinates visits by college admission representatives, on-campus SAT prep courses, the school’s own college handbook, and an annual college program for students and parents. She also organizes the Independent Study Program.

Mrs. Conklin, the mother of three young adults who attended boarding schools, lives off campus with her husband, Huxley.
