As Athletic Director, Ms. Haney has a vested interest in the quality of the sports programs here at SMS, from personal responsibility and fitness to teamwork and sportmanship. An avid athlete who teaches personal fitness by example, she inspires her students both in the classroom and on the playing field. Ms. Haney coaches JV Volleyball, Varsity Basketball and Varsity Softball in addition to overseeing the Health, Driver Education, Athletic and Afternoon Activities Program.

She lives off campus with her husband , Terry, and has two children, Seth and Katy (SMS Class of '06).
