Minimester 2005 is a time for exploration at St. Margaret's.

Minimester is a time for exploration at St. Margaret's. Students embark on educational
trips, undertake career internships, or choose from a wide variety of enriching, non-
traditional classes. Here's a look at some of this year's Minimester courses.

in a performance by the Blue Man Group.

Little White Dress Class

These girls on the Bahamas trip learned
how to navigate and sail.  They also snorkeled,
studied oceanography and learned how to get
along with others in a very small space!

Beadwork requires a steady hand, a good eye, and lots of patience.

girls in the "Martha Stewart" class how
to iron a shirt.  This week, the class also learned techniques for cleaning their rooms.
Art Adventure
Above: The "Next Steps" class toured four Virginia
colleges during Minimester, including the
University of Richmond.  They also spent most
mornings preparing for the March SAT.
