Minimester Makes Memories

Learning to read facial expressions and body language from a private investigator; taking a virtual tour of the Louvre museum; turning a vintage sewing machine into a modern vanity; creating a life-sized interpretation of “The Last Supper” in the collective styles of Picasso, Warhol and 12 other artists. These are just a few of the interesting projects and discussions that went on during this year’s Minimester, the two week period during which students and faculty explore the world beyond campus and the traditional curriculum. In addition to these on-campus opportunities off-campus trips to Disney World, South Carolina and Costa Rica also gave girls hands-on learning experiences.
