Amidst the daily happenings of school, sports, homework and extracurricular activities, the three weeks between Thanksgiving break and Christmas vacation are jammed packed with holiday celebrations, community time and special traditions.
At the senior bazaar, the senior class peddles their wares to raise money for the class. Items are donated by students, faculty and parents and include homemade baked goods, handmade jewelry and crafts that make ideal Christmas gifts.
The boarding students celebrated Christmas by baking cookies together in their communities. After study hall they all gathered in St. Margaret’s Hall for a Christmas celebration.
Latin classes commemorated the birth of Christ with their annual rendition of the nativity. Finally in a long standing St. Margaret’s tradition the whole community gathered for a celebration of Lessons and Music at St. John’s Church followed by a meal hosted by the Freshman class.
