Spring Family Weekend 2008

Dear St. Margaret’s families,

Spring in Virginia! How many ways we have to celebrate the season! Thank you for making plans to be with us for Spring Family Weekend, May 2-4, 2008. While we honor our seniors with a number of special activities, this is a time for all students and their families to celebrate being part of the St. Margaret's School community. It has been a wonderful year and we look forward to having you here with us again.

The enclosed materials provide details of the weekend’s activities. We have scheduled carefully so that whatever your daughter’s age or whatever her particular interests and activities, you will be able to attend all of our events. Consider the opportunities:

  • The pride of cheering for a sports team at our new athletic complex
  • The camaraderie of meals shared with your daughter and the families of her St. Margaret's School friends
  • The inside information on proceeding with the college search
  • The inspiration of the arts with our students as the stars
  • Insights into seniors’ Independent Study projects
  • News of next year’s Minimester trips and courses
  • A chance for your own rubber duckie to win you prizes while supporting the Parent Council
  • Discovering if the faculty rowers will finally defeat the students
  • A quiet conversation with your daughter’s advisor
  • Luncheon on the lawn honoring the seniors and the presentation of senior portraits
  • May Ball – a celebration of our seniors living into our motto, As we grown in age, may we grow in grace, and good food and music for us all!
