St. Margaret's School Mathletes



St. Margaret's "Mathletes": The SMS "Denominators" (white t-shirts) placed third among 13 teams at a recent math contest sponsored by Rappahannock Community College.

Two teams represented St. Margaret's, including: Front - Rachelle Slotnick of Tappahannock, Hee-Ran Kim, Alison Wasserman. Back - Heather Gilbert, Claire Stephenson of Tappahannock, calculus teacher Keith Krusz and Elizabeth LeBlanc. In a twist on sports tradition, the Denominators sported such player numbers as the square root of 13 and 1-3/5.
