Tappahannock Day Camp Accepting Applications

Tappahannock, VA (April 4, 2001) - For eight years, parents facing the challenge of keeping little ones busy during the summer have enjoyed the convenience, reliability - and fun - of St. Margaret's K.I.D.S. (Kick Into Discovery Summer) Camp.

Swimming is always a popular activity at K.I.D.S. Camp. One of last summer's classes poses at the SMS pool with instructor Irene Brummett.

"SMS has both the experienced staff and the extensive facilities to offer a top-notch program," said Camp Director Sue Saunders. "At K.I.D.S. Camp, boys and girls age 6 through 12 develop skills and confidence in arts, athletics and academics, and have a good time doing it."

This summer, camp sessions run from June 25 to July 6 and from July 9 to 20. New offerings, including basketball, lacrosse, digital photography and games, join such popular activities as swimming, math fun, art, reading review, tennis, golf, canoeing and soccer. Tuition for each two-week session is $200 per child.
