SMS Day Camp Still Accepting Applications

Tappahannock, VA (June 20, 2001) - Parents looking to keep little ones busy this summer still have time to register their children for St. Margaret's School's K.I.D.S. (Kick Into Discovery Summer) Camp.

Put your child in the picture! There are still a few openings for boys and girls ages 6-12 at St. Margaret's School's KIDS Camp.

For years, local families have enjoyed the convenience, reliability - and fun - of the half-day program for boys and girls ages 6 through 12. The camp takes place on the SMS campus in Tappahannock and makes full use of the school's athletic and educational facilities.

According to Camp Director Sue Saunders, activity choices include basketball, computer skills, field hockey/lacrosse, and reading review. Only Level V swimming, art for ages 6-8 (first hour), golf for ages 10-12, and beginning swimming (third hour) are currently closed.

Sessions run from June 25 to July 6 and July 9 to 20. Tuition for each two-week session is $200 per child. Bus service is available from King William and Middlesex counties for an additional $35 fee.
