SMS Announces Honor, Merit Roll Students

Tappahannock, VA (June 28, 2001) - Hard work and good study habits have paid off for students at St. Margaret's School, who have earned spots on the school's honor and merit rolls for the final trimester of the 2000-2001 academic year.

Students named to the honor roll have an average of 90 or above with no grade below a B. Local students include seniors Claire Stephenson of Tappahannock and Britton Faulkner of Irvington, and freshman Lauren Crockett of Irvington.

Boarding students named to the honor roll include seniors Heather Gilbert, Elizabeth LeBlanc, Alison Wasserman and Briana Wright; juniors Sadaf Awan, Carter Holloway, Shu Jin and Virginia King; sophomores Emily Chang, Hannah Lee and Evita Moody; freshmen Yoo Ri Jung, Jennifer Lee, Skye Rhodes-Robinson and Cariad Shepherd; and eighth-graders Rachel Chang, Luanda Fiscella, Phoebe Gilbert, Kacey Ko and Sunmi Lee.

Students earning merit roll recognition have an average of 87 or above with no grade below a C. Local students include seniors Sarah Muller of Tappahannock and Sara Newman of White Stone; juniors Nikki Clark of Lively, Taylor Ellis of Dunnsville, Olivia Longest of Tappahannock, Heather Porter of Walkerton, Kelly Proctor of Urbanna, Ruth Redfearn of Kinsale and Sarah Taliaferro of Center Cross; sophomore Jacky Sydnor of Tappahannock; freshmen Blair Fisher of Lottsburg, Maggie Ransone of Kilmarnock and Jessica White of Warsaw.

Boarding students earning merit roll recognition include seniors Hee Ran Kim, Ann Melchionna and Nikki Zuralow; juniors Kristina Bethea, Anne Czechanski and Kat Price; sophomores Breese Anderson and Mariana Heredia; and freshmen Beth Brinkley and Patricia Van Pelt.
