"We're pleased to have this expert confirmation that the quality of our publications reflects the quality of our school programs," said Head of School Margaret R. Broad. "The judges found that our materials compared very favorably to those produced by universities, public relations firms and large corporations."

The River Brochure was written by SMS Director of Marketing and Communications Jenni Brockman and designed by McFadden Clay Marketing Communications of Warsaw. Photographs and content were contributed by the school's River Program Committee, which includes River Program Coordinator Andrea Robinson, Assistant Head for School Life Cathy Sgroi, and teachers George McDowell, Grace Rhinesmith and Tobey Taliaferro.

"River Views," a monthly newsletter for parents, alumnae and community friends, is written, photographed and designed by Brockman with input from Broad, Sgroi, Assistant Head for External Affairs Kimberly McDowell and Day Family Coordinator Susan Stephenson.
