SMS Resident Artist Wins Award

Tappahannock (May 20, 2002) - Ruth Lyons, a resident artist at St. Margaret's School, recently was recognized with the Rochester Institute of Technology's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences' Outstanding Senior Award. Lyons has been teaching photography and leading the photography after-school activity at SMS this trimester. The February 2002 RIT graduate plans to teach next year in an inner-city elementary school. She is shown here explaining darkroom technique to some of her St. Margaret's photography students.
