Head of School Margaret R. Broad is pleased to announce the names of students who have earned a place on the St. Margaret’s School honor, merit and B rolls for the second trimester of the 2005-2006 academic year.

Students named to the honor roll have an average of 90 or above with no grade below a B. Local students include juniors Ligon Brooks of Millers Tavern and Chelsea Jacobs of Dunnsville; freshmen Corbin Brooks of Millers Tavern, Kelsey Harris of Tappahannock and Anna-Beth Lawler of Sandy Point; and eighth-grader Annie Badenoch of Irvington.

Other students named to the honor roll include senior Virginia Jiao; juniors Saori Kaneko, Tetyana McCain and Mariam Smith-Pleigo; sophomores Hailey Jung and Ji-Ye Kim; freshmen Annie Chen, Min-Jin Kim, Seh-Young Kim, Casey Sweren and Jessica Wu; and eighth-grader Yun Hwa Chang.

Students earning merit roll recognition have an average of 87 or above with no grade below a C. Local students include seniors Sydney Harris of Tappahannock, Erin Martin of Callao, Alexandra Newman of Lancaster, Allison Ryan of Tappahannock, Julie Sader of St. Stephen’s Church and Katy Saunders of Tappahannock; juniors Michelle Burch of Burgess and Laura Gorham of Tappahannock; sophomores Stephanie Hanson of Gloucester and Danielle Creel of Dunnsville; freshmen Meghan Cooke and Ryan Martin, both of Tappahannock; and eighth-grader Laurie Wilbur of Tappahannock.
