St. Margaret’s School officially welcomed more than 30 students and their families, from six surrounding counties, into its day student program at the annual Day Family Dinner last night.

The 2006-07 school year kicked off for these students as they received class schedules, met with teachers and advisors, and greeted other students from around the region. More orientation events are planned for the entire SMS community this weekend, including the arrival of more than 115 boarding students.

In addition to Essex, this year, the school enrolls students from, King & Queen, King William, Lancaster, Northumberland, and Westmoreland counties.
