Head of School Margaret R. Broad is pleased to announce the names of students who have earned a place on the St. Margaret’s School honor, merit and B rolls for the first trimester of the 2006-2007 academic year.

Students named to the honor roll earned an average of 90 or above with no grade below a B.    Local students include sophomores Corbin Brooks of Miller’s Tavern and Anna-Beth Lawler of Sandy Point; freshmen Becca McKinley and Abby Odell of Tappahannock and Hannah Newman of Lancaster.

Other students named to the honor roll include juniors Stephanie Hanson and Young-Eun Lee; sophomores Min Jin Kim and Seh-Young Kim; freshmen Sujin An, Amelia Chen, Kelly Helton, Jessika Morris and Linh Tran; and eigth-grader Marley Rudolph.

Students earning merit roll recognition have an average of 87 or above with no grade below a C. Local students include seniors Ligon Brooks of Millers Tavern, Michelle Burch of Burgess, Rachel Franklin of Champlain, Chelsea Jacobs of Dunnsville and Keri Straughan of Hague; junior Martha Joslyn of Tappahannock; sophomores Meghan Cooke of High Point, Scarlett Gregory of King William and Ryan Martin of Tappahannock; freshmen Betsy Joslyn and Laurie Wilbur of Tappahannock; and eighth-grader Chandler Scott of Center Cross.

Other students earning merit roll recognition include seniors Alexandria Artis, Taylor Bryant, Saori Kaneko, Su Jin Jeon, Tetyana McCain and Bukola Omotade; juniors Katherine Burnett, Hailey Jung, Hannah Kessler, Ji-Ye Kim and Michka Sharpe; sophomores Sarah McClellan, Caroline Rollins, Antinnea Skipworth, Flo Snyder and Jessica Wu; freshmen Annie Badenoch, Sarah Gibson and Lexie Winiecke; and eighth-grader So Youn Kim.

Additionally, students earning a trimester average in the B range with no term or trimester grade below a C were named to the B List. Local students include junior Blair Passagaluppi and freshman Ivy Turner of Tappahannock and sophomore Jackie Loomis of Dunnsville.

Other students include seniors Julia Cibulka, Katie Coffey, Emily Davidson, Mary Beth De Loache, Aubrey Sozer, and Brittany Wilburn; juniors Danielle Creel, Laura Kelley, Susan Lee, Florence Lien and Samantha Marsengill; sophomores Nancy Brauns, Caroline Casey, Annie Chen, Jasmine Chen, Pilar Garcia, Qian Kong and Mary Remkus; and freshmen Eden Conner and Susan Ho.
