Head of School Margaret R. Broad is pleased to announce the names of students who have earned a place on the school’s honor and merit rolls for the second trimester of the 2006-2007 academic year.

Students named to the honor roll have an average of 90 or above with no grade below a B. Local students include senior Michelle Burch of Burgess; sophomores Corbin Brooks of Millers Tavern, Meghan Cooke of Tappahannock and Anna Beth Lawler of Sandy Point; freshmen Elizabeth Joslyn, Rebecca McKinley and Abby Odell of Tappahannock and Hannah Newman of Lancaster.

Other students named to the honor roll include seniors Saori Kaneko and Tetyana McCain; juniors Katherine Burnett, Hailey Jung, Ji-Ye Kim, Young-Eun Lee and Michka Sharpe; sophomores Joan Ge, Min Jin Kim, Seh-Young Kim, Caroline Rollins, Ginny Tsai and Jessica Wu; freshmen Sujin An, Amelia Chen, Eden Conner, Kelly Helton, Susan Ho, Jessika Morris and Linh Tran; and eighth-grader Marley Rudolf.

Students earning merit roll recognition have an average of 87 or above with no grade below a C. Local students include seniors Ligon Brooks of Millers Tavern, Rachel Franklin of Champlain, Laura Gorham of Tappahannock and Chelsea Jacobs of Dunnsville; sophomore Ryan Martin of Tappahannock; and freshman Chandler Scott of Center Cross.

Other students earning merit roll recognition include seniors Su Jin Jeon, Da Hae Lee and Taylor Miller; juniors Kristen Clayton-White, Stephanie Hanson, Hannah Kessler and Martha Reynolds; sophomores Pilar Garcia, Sarah Keating, Qian Kong, Sarah McClellan, Antinnea Skipwith and Florence Snyder; freshmen Annie Badenoch and Lexie Winiecke; and eighth-grader So Youn Kim.

Additionally, students earning a trimester average in the B range with no term or trimester grade below a C were named to the B List. Local students include juniors Martha Joslyn of Tappahannock and Danielle Creel of Millers Tavern; sophomores Christian Blydenburgh of Aylett and Scarlett Gregory of King William; and freshmen Sarah Gibson of Montross and Laurie Wilbur of Tappahannock.

Other students include seniors Katie Coffey, Sara Kissel, Aubrey Sozer and Brittany Wilburn; juniors Blair Gurganus, Florence Lien and Tess Potter; sophomores Christina Beckham, Nancy Brauns, Annie Chen, Mary Remkus and Crystal Thomas; and freshmen Frankie Berscak, Lindsay Marsengill, Brittany McPherson and Imani Yasin.
