K.I.D.S. Camp '99
Some wise person once said, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." What about Jill?
Same. Solution?
Easy.
Enroll your youngster into St. Margaret's Kick Into Discovery Summer Camp. K.I.D.S., in its seventh year, promises to deliver loads of fun and challenging activities to children ages six to twelve. Camp Director Sue Saunders boasts eighteen activities this summer. "Old favorites" include: art kaleidoscope, math games, reading review, K.I.D.S. Lit, home alone, tennis, golf, canoeing, swimming, and soccer; 9 new activities have been added to this year's program.
New for '99: "Rhythm is the Thing," a course offering an introduction to music; "Making Melodies," where kids learn to sing camp and folk songs; "It Takes Two," how to sing two-part harmony and descant…from Christmas to Rock and Roll!; "The Tool Box," a primer on Microsoft Word--letters, spreadsheets, and graphs; "Fencing," can finesse really overcome strength?; "Mini Moves," a class that teaches dance basics; "Creative Moves," a choreography/dance class; Baseball/Softball, learn the basics of fielding and hitting with a new pitching machine; Field Hockey, explore the fun of this fast-paced game.
All camp activities will take place at St. Margaret's School. The gymnasium will open at 8:45 a.m. Cost is $175.00 per two-week session. Bus service is available with designated stops along Rt. 17 south and Rt. 360 east/west; additional fee required. Two sessions are offered:
Session I: 9:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. daily
Monday, June 28 - Friday, July 9
Session II: 9:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. daily
Monday, July 12 - Friday, July 23
